The Raku Rainbow cremation urn has stunning colours in different hues. The cremation urn colours are random and may vary from the photo shown. We can have the artist send a photo of the actual urn they make for you, to ensure you like the urn before it is posted. The silver lettering and ribbon colour are fully customisable.

The Raku Rainbow Urn is a handcrafted, one of a kind piece of art.  Just like your loved one, each urn is unique, with no two urns ever looking exactly the same. The Raku firing process produces vibrant iridescent colour variances in the glazed finish, which cannot be specified by either the artist or the family. This unpredictable element makes each urn truly unique.

The colours range from gold and silver, through metallic copper, pink and peacock blue with burgundy undertones.

The finished surface is an earthy texture of sand and clay with a matte to glossy lustre.  The spots, marks and 'brush like' strokes that you see are part of the design. They come from sticks or dense matter being close to the surface during the combustible part of the firing. These marks cannot be controlled or removed.

This item is custom made to order. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery once customisation is confirmed

PRODUCT NOTE

This urn is designed to be kept indoors out of direct sunlight. Leaving this urn in direct sun for long periods of time will fade the colour of the glaze so it is not recommended.
