How do I use this store?
Welcome to the Caskets Direct online store. This is an Australian retail store for the general public. Here you will find an array of cremation urns and memorial jewellery.
New to online shopping? No worries! Here are some helpful tips to help you use our website.
You do not need to have a paypal account to pay via Paypal. You can pay with a credit card or visa debit card with out signing up for a Paypal account. Paypal is the most secure and safe way to pay with a credit card.
Use the two main product categories to help you browse our store. They are located near the top of the page under the Caskets Direct logo. The three categories are follows.
Subcategories will help you refine your search. The subcategories appear in a drop down menu when you hold the mouse curser over one of the categopries without clicking on it.
Product information including size, capacity and delivery time frames
To learn more about a product click on the photo of the product or click on the the name of the product. This will open up the product page which has more information. Each product page has the following information.
SKU code- This is the product identification code
Availabilty- This will tell you fast you can get your item. 'Special order' items cannot be delivered any faster than the specified delivery time.
Shipping- This means postage fees within Australia. If this feild says 'Calculated at check out' this generally means express post options are available. All of our urns are posted with a tracking which is emailed to you once your order has been 'shipped' (posted from our warehouse in Melbourne).
Some items will have a price listed next to 'Shipping'. This postage price is a fixed due to the item being large or delicate, requiring additional packaging to ensure it arrives in perfect condition
Calculating express post/standard post- Your can 'Add to cart' and delete items from your cart safely with out completeing your order. Your order is not complete until you have entered your credit card details and the payment has been approved.
Product description- This is where you will find more information on the product including the dimensions and capacity if you are shopping for an urn. If the product description is missing from a product you like please contact us and provide the SKU code so we can get back to you quickly with the details.
Search our store
You can search for an items by typing in a keywork into the BLUE SEARCH STORE box at the top of the website. Here you can type in words to help you find what you are after. I.e. 'wooden', 'blue', 'pink', 'rose'. etc.
We post our cremation urns and cremation jewellery Australia wide daily. Orders are posted either same day or next day via Eparcel Austalia post. You will be provided with a tracking number when you order has be 'shipped'. A signature is required on delivery.
If you are not home at the time of delivery your order will be carded to your local post office. If you think you have missed the delivery and did not received a card in your mailbox you can look up the tracking number for your order in the ' Your order has been shipped' email that you will receive from us.
Pick up- You can pick up your order from our shop in Footscray, Victoria. The shop is open by appointment only. The address is provided once an appointment time has been confirmed. Mon-Thur 9.30-3pm Ph 03 8394 3285

Payments- Payment methods accepted are Visa/Mastercard, Visa debit, cash, direct deposit. Paypal or ZipPay. If paying via direct deposit you will need to place your order over the phone by calling 03) 8394 3285
Credit card security- We use Eway to process all card transactions. Eway is a secure payment processing gateway connected to the Commonwealth bank. eWay uses trusted state of the art security to ensure your credit card infomation is safe at all time. We do not have access to your credit card number and cannot see the numbers on your credit card. We can only see your order reference number and your full name and email address.
What happens after I have placed my order? You will receive an automated order confirmation email which contains your order details and delivery address. If yoiu do not get an email from us please check your email 'junk mail'. If you still did not get an email from us you may have entered your email address incorrectly by mistake.
